The suite of offices that Applied Nanomolecular maintained in Winnemucca Nevada, not far from the mine, was in a small company-owned building. Its tenants included an accountant, an insurance agent, and a new age healer, Amir Singh, who preached the virtues of garlic, rhubarb root and Irish moss to his patients. Among the four tenants, the cathartic healer drew the greatest traffic. The four businesses shared a common lavatory. The company had hired a receptionist, Connie Almaro, originally from Boston, with the added job qualification of speaking Spanish in the Nevada office. Besides the building, Applied Nanomolecular owned a Gulfstream II jet for cross country travel.
